Mark Kahn is the founder of Moving Prana Bodyworkers.
Mark combines classical massage techniques including deep tissue, spindle cell release, compression strokes, efflourage, and active isolated stretching with precision yoga breathing awareness and compassionate presence to deliver a powerful healing transmission. Heal deep!
Mark earned his massage certificate at the Alive and Well Institute for Conscious Bodywork in 2003, and is currently completing an advanced bodyworker academic program. Mark is affiliated of the Assoicated Bodyworkers And Massage Professionals.
Mark teaches yoga, stretching and awareness practices at YogaMountain studio in Fairfax,Ca.
Karen Marie offers a unique form of therapeutic massage by combining various techniques such as Swedish massage, acupressure, deep tissue and sports therapy stretching. She bases her practice on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine which states that all of our musculo-skeletal imbalances are directly related to the health of our internal organs. Also, by investigating the tension held within the physical body we can tap into the tension being held by the mental/ emotional body. Thus by discovering and addressing the affected areas we can hope to better release stress and tension from all areas of our lives.
Karen uses only therapeutic grade essential oils to induce a higher capacity for natural healing. The power of essential oils is is their natural potency and ability to affect the autonomic nervous system, the response system beyond our control.
